Entrelac - Saturday, February 21st, 2009 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm
Learn the basics of entrelac knitting. Bring self striping worsted weight
yarn, 4.5mm or 5.0mm circular needle, and usual knitting notions (tapestry
needle, scissors, tape measure, etc.) No charge for workshop, materials if
needed are extra. Space limited to 8 participants. Hot and cold beverages
provided, bring a light lunch or snack if desired.


The Ins and Outs of Ravelry - Saturday March 21st from 11:00 am until
2:00 pm. This workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of
Ravelry, the great on line knitting community. Learn how to search for
patterns, upload your stash, needles and book information, how to track
your works in progress and so much more. Space is limited to 6
participants. Computers will be available for your use, however, if you
have a laptop, bring it, and connect to our wireless network. Go to
www.ravelry.com and register for an invitation at least one week before
the class so you'll be ready to go!
Eek! Steeks!:Saturday April 18th from 11:oo am until 2:00 pm
This workshop covers the basics on steeking, a traditional way of knitting
int he round and then cutting your finished work to make armholes, and
sweater fronts. Space limited to 8 participants. There will be a little
homework and the project requires 100% wool in 3 colours. Call or come
in to register and pick up the pattern and material requirements. This
class is filling fast so call to reserve your spot.
