Row 2: Purl Row 3: Knit Row 4: Purl Cuff: Cast on 41 stitches. Working on two needles, knit first row. Repeat pattern a total of 3 times. Working even, knit 15 rows in garter stitch. Next row: with purl side of work facing, K1,* (yo, K2tog) repeat from * to end of row. Next row: Purl Note: Your boottee will look as if you have made a mistake and mixed up the right side and wrong side. You haven't - this is where you begin working on the foot - the cuff will turn down, exposing the right side. Begin foot and toe shaping. Knit 2 tog, knit 23, knit 2 tog, knit 3, knit 2 tog, knit 23, k 2 tog Knit 2 tog, knit 21, knit 2 tog, knit 3, knit 2 tog, knit 21, k2tog K2tog, knit 19, k2tog, knit 3, k2tog, knit 19, k2tog K2tog,k17,k2tog, k3, k2tog, k17, k2tog, K2tog,k15, k2to, k3, k2tog, k15, k2tog K2tog, k13, k2tog, k3, k2tog, k13, k2tog K2tog, k11, k2tog, k3, k2tog, k11, k2tog Cast off. Sew up back seam reversing seam for outside of cuff. With crochet hook, join top and bottom of sole to form a picot. Go through the holes of the third pattern yo row.
